Profile
Arresting Art
Basic Attack: Arresting Art
Performs up to 5 consecutive attacks using steady martial arts techniques, dealing Lakshana DMG.
Splits 1 Fang Thrust from his shadow to pursue each target hit. Locks each target with up to 3 Fang Thrusts simultaneously.
Basic Attack: Territory Control
Strikes in the air and plunges, dealing 1 instance of Lakshana DMG to an area upon impact.
Increases DMG based on fall height, up to 100%.
Fang Thrust
Splitting from Skia's shadow, these shattered shadows resemble the fangs of a giant beast. They automatically track and attach to targets, disappearing after dealing 1 instance of Lakshana DMG.
Critical Riposte: Pen to Paper
Triggers when using Arresting Art after a Critical Dodge. Strikes enemies with ink-splash shadows, dealing 1 instance of Lakshana DMG to an area and reducing Break.
"The doggo… This dark stuff comes out with doggo punches… pretty impressive."
Shadow Hound Chase
A workflow designed for pursuit. Enters the Tailed state, leaps into own shadow, and deals 6 instances of Lakshana DMG to an area. Splits 3 Fang Thrusts from shadow for each target hit, then enters Shadow Hound Gnaw mode.
Tailed
Prevents Fang Thrusts from disappearing after dealing damage to targets during the state.
Shadow Hound Gnaw
Allows movement on ground or wall surfaces, similar to Shadow Hound mode.
Remains undetected when approaching enemy targets.
Grants immunity to certain attacks, but cancels the mode when hit by ground damage.
Triggers additional attacks from Fang Thrusts whenever touching an enemy already marked by them.
Press Basic Attack or switch characters to exit this mode during its duration.
Moves forward at the edge of a high place to end this mode.
Deals 1 instance of Lakshana DMG to an area upon exiting the mode.
Some nimble troublemakers might think they can escape ETD's pursuit… They should check what's lurking beneath their feet.
The Pack
A workflow designed for suppression. Throws a spinning lighter, causing his shadow to spread across the ground in all directions, dealing 1 instance of Lakshana DMG to an area.
Converges multiple shadows on a single location like well-trained canines, dealing 3 instances of Lakshana DMG to an area.
Increases Fang Thrust's damage after casting The Pack (including collision damage in Shadow Hound Gnaw mode) and inflicts a control effect on targets with each attack.
The consequences of "non-compliance."
Arrest Warrant
The relentless shadows cannot be shaken off. Commands the shadow like a police canine to bite the target, dealing 1 instance of Lakshana DMG to an area.
Suppression
Remora Enhancement: Inflicts an additional Remora on a target when Fang Thrust locks onto them in Remora state.
Usually, there's no need for physical intervention — Skia can subdue targets with just his shadows, keeping facilities undamaged. Plus, he helps with cleanup… According to a BAC cafeteria survey, 84% of staff welcome Skia at their work site — less hassle for them!
Apprehension
Increases Fang Thrust damage by 10% for 15s after casting The Pack, including collision damage in Shadow Hound Gnaw mode.
Your body might be free to move, but your shadow is held in an iron grip, rendering you immobile… Quite the peculiar sensation.

Review
Once Fang Thrust is stacked, his damage starts to feel noticeably stronger
A lot of his damage happens automatically after setup, so you are not constantly micromanaging everything
Good at pressuring groups of enemies, especially when he is moving through them in shadow form
Shop Management buffs.
Damage can be a bit lower than some other DPS.
Even in shadow form, he is not invulnerable, so you still have to be careful when diving in.
Skia is a Lakshana Attribute character who performs the Damage role in combat.
He is a main DPS who relies on applying Fang Thrust through his Basic Attacks and Redirect Skills. Fang Thrust is a persistent shadow mark that splits off tracking shadows when he hits enemies, stacking up to a limit. These marks trigger additional follow-up damage when Skia attacks or when he is in his Shadow Hound Gnaw state.
When enemies are marked with Fang Thrust, he can use his Redirect Skill, Shadow Hound Chase, to enter a shadow form (usable with or without marks). In Shadow Hound Gnaw, he dives into the ground and deals increased damage by moving near or through marked enemies. He can also enter this state by holding dodge, but he still takes damage while transformed.
What is cool about his kit is that it essentially auto-attacks for you once you set up Fang Thrust, which automatically attaches to enemies as you hit them. His Ultimate, The Pack, is a damaging attack that also increases Fang Thrust’s damage, including collision damage while in his shadow form.
Pairing him with a Cosmos character is beneficial, as it gives an additional use for his Fang Thrust by inflicting an extra Remora.
Since he is an A Rank, you will likely obtain all of his Awakenings, which mainly reinforce Fang Thrust and his shadow loop.
Skia is essentially a character who deals increasing damage once he has applied Fang Thrust. He also has strong crowd control and interesting movement through his shadow form. Though due to this he does require time on the field if you want to focus on his kit.

Awakenings & Calcs
In NTE, you can freely choose Awakening Effects, so you are not forced to unlock them in a specific order, and you can unselect them at any time.
Resolution (A4) > Process of Elimination (A1) > Unbothered Appearance (A6) > Law and Order (A2) > Solution (A3) > Social Contract (A5)
As Skia is an A Rank character, you’ll likely be getting all his Awakenings anyway.
We're still working on Skia's calculations, so this might change later, but Resolution (A4) extends how long enemies stay marked and deals more damage the longer they remain attached, which is exactly what his kit is built around. Process of Elimination (A1) then directly boosts how hard Fang Thrust hits through auto-attacks, a huge core of his kit. Unbothered Appearance (A6) follows as it adds extra Fang Thrust damage while moving through marked enemies in shadow form, a more direct damage contribution than the utility Law and Order (A2) provides.
Solution (A3) is a modest damage boost that does better DMG when there’s a single enemy you’re fighting. Social Contract (A5) lowers the enemies’ speed but it’s not something you need that much, and you will get the same effect in a Remora team.
