Best guide and build for Mint from Neverness To Everness (NTE). Mint is an
rarity character from the
Anima element who performs the
Damage role in combat. Their Arc Compatibility is Liquid. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of Mint's best build, including recommended builds and the strongest team compositions and rotations that maximize their potential.
If there was such a ranking, I'd probably hold the record for "Most Times Tricked by Anomalies" in the Containment Units…

Perfect Containment
Basic Attack: Perfect Containment
Wields her weapon and performs up to 5 consecutive attacks, dealing Anima DMG.
Basic Attack: Justice from Above
Wields her weapon in the air and plunges, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area upon impact.
Increases DMG based on fall height, up to 100%.
Critical Riposte: Caramel Crisp
Triggers when using Perfect Containment after a Critical Dodge. Leaps up to dodge an attack, seizes the enemy's opening, and swiftly swings her weapon, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area and reducing Break.
Basic Attack: Minty Whirlwind
Hold Basic Attack to make Mint dance and spin, forming a tornado that continuously drains Stamina and deals continuous Anima DMG to surrounding enemies.
"First place in the Containment Simulation Exam: Mint, from CSU-2."
Ultimate: Super Claws
Time to cool things down! Dashes forward, then returns to her original position, dealing 2 instances of AoE Anima DMG to enemies along the path.
"Ice cream is cool, mint is cool, so mint ice cream from Blizzi means double the happiness! Ooha — I'm already shivering just thinking about it!"
Ultimate: Thunderous Whirlwind Slash
Are you ready! Channels the surrounding wind into her dual blades, transforming them into wind blades that deal multiple instances of Anima DMG to an area. Lands with a final hit that deals massive Anima DMG to an area.
The full name is "Mint's Ultimate: Super Duper Ultra 360 Whirlwind Slash", but I had to shorten it to what it is now because people wouldn't stop laughing about it.
Ultimate: Invincible Tornado Slash
Perfect finishing work from an elite member! Charges and leaps into the air, performing a penetrating attack on enemies, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area.
Transform! Super Mint!
Blossom Enhancement: Expands Vita Pistils' damage area on hit.
"Watch closely now! I'm not the same as before! You're now face-to-face with an elite operative!"
Bingo! We're Done Here!
While Mint is on the field, her DEF is increased by 20% and her resistance to Interruptions is increased by 30%.
There's always that extra burst of energy when work's almost done, especially when putting out new arrivals…
"Five minutes till close! Line up nicely and get nullified!"

Review
Free character, making her accessible to all players without any investment
Very easy to learn and play, with a straightforward kit that does not require complex setups or timing
Enjoyable and durable close-range playstyle that rewards staying on field as a main DPS, making her great for players who dislike quick-swapping.
Can build up Cycle Rate slightly faster from just using her skills.
Can ask for people’s cars without stealing them, shop management buffs.
OHMYGAWDITSMINT
Her kit is very basic and not too much else is going on.
She needs her A1 to actually function (Though you’ll get one of her copies for free, and you’ll get another copy of her soon enough).
Mint is an Anima Attribute character with a Damage role in combat. She is one of the first characters you will likely try out besides the MC, and she functions really well as a beginner’s character.
Her kit in general is designed to be extremely easy to play in almost every facet. She does not have complicated effects; they are all very simple and made to be easier to use in actual combat. For example, her skill Ultimate: Super Claws is a simple attack that sends you forward and then takes you right back to where you were. Her passives, like Bingo! We’re Done Here!, increase her defense and make her 30% more resistant to being interrupted.
Her awakening effects, which you will likely unlock fully since she is an A-Rank character, also support this playstyle. Task Force Operation (A1) is her most important awakening, as it resets the cooldown of her skill whenever she performs a Critical Riposte and successfully hits the enemy, which essentially defines her entire playstyle. The rest of her awakenings are simple numerical and percentage buffs.
Mint is essentially designed to be a plug-and-play character with no setup. The passive effects, as mentioned, allow her to stay up close and keep attacking without being interrupted as often, and the Ultimate: Super Claw reset also supports this close-range playstyle by rewarding every Critical Riposte. She also has a spin attack by holding her basic attack, dealing up to 30 instances of damage, though it is best saved for when the enemy is stunned or broken. Her damage is generally decent, but is outclassed by a pinkish deviant fellow cat.
Overall, Mint is a mobile attacker who is quite durable and works well with her A1, allowing her cooldowns to stay low and keeping her active throughout battle. Her kit does not require complex strategies, as her durability lets you take risks while focusing on dodging, attacking, and consistently resetting her Redirect Skill.
You will want Cosmos characters to synergize with her Blossom Enhancement, or Incantation characters. Her Blossom Enhancement expands the AoE of Vita Bud hits, which is useful in fights with multiple enemies but has no effect in single target boss fights. Her A3 (Attendance Bonus) increases Mint's ATK by 15% whenever someone triggers Blossom or Hexed, making Cosmos and Incantation teammates very valuable. Her A6 also helps her build up cycle rate faster through simply using her Redirect Skill.
Best Build

For NTE calculations we worked alongside Rivyn Elowen. Any other content such as comments on Arcs, Modules, etc are our own.
Mint best Arcs (Weapons) are placed in order of what fits their playstyle the most. Check the comments to get additional context. Also, if you go to the Calculations tab, you will find information about the team setup used for the calculations.
Anima DMG % > Crit Rate % > Crit DMG % > ATK % >
Crit Rate % > Crit DMG % > ATK % = DMG % >> ATK

ATK: 2000+
Crit Rate: 60%+
Crit DMG: 100%+ before 56% from Cartridge set bonus.

Awakenings & Calcs
In NTE, you can freely choose Awakening Effects, so you are not forced to unlock them in a specific order, and you can unselect them at any time.
Task Force Operation (A1) > First Instinct (A5) > Attendance Bonus (A3) > Re-examination (A2) = Elite Member (A6) > Lunch Break (A4)
As Mint is an A Rank character, you'll likely be getting all her Awakenings anyway, but the ones you should prioritize are her Task Force Operation (A1) first and foremost. Then First Instinct (A5), followed by Attendance Bonus (A3). The order for the rest doesn't matter as much, though Lunch Break (A4) is likely the lowest priority as it does nothing in AoE scenarios, which you will encounter a lot of early on.
Task Force Operation (A1) allows her to reset the cooldown of her Ultimate: Super Claws every time she performs a Critical Riposte against the opponent. This is almost necessary for her to function effectively as a reliable main DPS and to keep her attack active. It also pairs nicely with First Instinct (A5), as A1 basically guarantees 100% uptime on A5's crit damage bonus.
Re-examination (A2), Attendance Bonus (A3), and Elite Member (A6) are all direct damage increases with conditions that are ideally always true anyway, so don't worry too much about the order you pick them up in. Though Attendance Bonus gives the highest Team DMG in the calc.
Lunch Break (A4), as mentioned, only works when there is one enemy left on the field, so it’s probably the last choice, even though 12% Crit Chance is very good. However, you can simply turn this on when you are not in an AoE battle. She is also a low rarity, so you will eventually get her copies anyway and will not have to pick and choose.
After you get every awakening you unlock her Fluffy Mousse (R6) which gives more Cycle Rate every time you use your skill, which you will be doing a lot of course.
Mint dupe calculations show the relative gain of each Awakening compared to the 'base' character without any active.
This allows her to reset the cooldown of her Redirect Skill attack every time she performs a Critical Dodge and lands a counterattack. This is almost the core of Mint and her kit doesn't nearly do as well without it, it lets her use her skills much more consistently, thus improving her DPS during battle and making her great for clearing AoE enemies.
An extremely simple awakening, it's a straight increase to her Redirect Skill: Ultimate: Super Claw by 40%. It's a nice gain and will boost her DPS, but for overall team DMG, it is a lower priority than the similar skills that increase DMG directly like A3 or A5.
Increases her ATK by 15% for 15 seconds whenever any character triggers Blossom or Hexed. This is a strong awakening you might even prioritize over A5 depending on your team. It’s a relatively rare effect that lets her benefit from an Esper Cycle reaction outside of her Attribute Enhancement. In this case, she gets a boost from Hexed reactions also, making her more flexible in team compositions.
Simple crit chance increase by 12% when dealing damage to the last enemy on the field. This is her worst Awakening for a few reasons. Yes it works on single target bosses, but Mint specializes more in AoE clearing due to her fast cooldowns once you grab A1, and she'll likely be overshadowed by other DPS for single target purposes. The boost itself isn't that significant either, so it's just a lower priority pick overall.
It is a Crit DMG increase every time you cast Redirect Skill: Ultimate Super Claws by 25%. This will be a very consistent source of damage for you, as Mint will activate her skill constantly, and this awakening will have an excellent uptime. However, it only works well with A1, so you should grab that first, but this is definitely the second best pick for most people.
This lets Mint deal a bit more damage against enemies whose HP is below 40%. It is a decent, straightforward buff, and there is not much to say about it, as it is very direct and you can look at the calculations on why it is here.
R3 is a generic skill level increase, and all calculations are Raw Gain with no other Awakens included.
R6 provides a cycle rate increase of 2 everytime she uses her Redirect Skill. Which she'll do often. Calculations are Raw Gain with no other Awakens included. Assumes +1 Esper Cycle from MC.
