We're pretty good at solving problems.
Final Reckoning
Dashes across the battlefield at high speed, continuously firing on surrounding targets before ending with a large-scale explosion, dealing Anima DMG.
Triggers Final Reckoning, causing all Lethal Rose Pact targets within range to enter a stage where Pact Settlement can be triggered, executing all settlements simultaneously on the final hit.
A faint stir in the air. Alas… merely a fleeting foe.
Intel Lock-On
Fires a curved bullet, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG and granting 2 Rose Pact Bullets upon hit.
Don't worry, I've always had an excellent memory.
Seize the Moment
Blossom Enhancement: Spawns 1 additional Vita Bud and increases Vita Bud limit on field to 6.
Went as smoothly as I thought it would.
Whispers at My Command
Binds targets not affected by Lethal Rose Pact when Vita Pistils hit them. Triggers an additional settlement on targets already bound, causing them to take an extra 15% x Anima DMG.
People say opportunities are rare, but I've always been good at seizing them.

Review
Improves the Blossom Esper Cycle.
Flexible, good against groups of enemies and single-target alike.
Can gather enemies with her skill.
Works both as on-field and off-field DPS.
Only efficient in Blossom teams.
Utility locked behind Awakenings.
Jiuyuan is a Damage Dealer of the Anima attribute with distinct facets to her playstyle depending on if you prefer to have her on-field or off-field. Most of her damage comes from her attachment mechanic who, despite being a damage-over-time, is not considered a DoT by other game mechanics. Which means that Sakiri’s passive won’t buff Jiuyuan’s attachment damage.
She works best in Blossom teams, due to her capability to generate Vita Buds consistently, as well as thanks to her passive “Seize the Moment”, which spawns additional Vita Buds and increases their limit on the field to 6, double the default limit of 3. Zero is a notable partner with high synergy since both them and Jiuyuan have abilities that allow for quick switching and that empower their rotations while doing so.
Moving on to breaking down how her kit and gameplay works, first we have her attachment/bind. The attachment damage comes from her Lethal Rose Pact, an effect that requires Rose Pact Bullets. Jiuyuan can get generate 2 bullets from her 5th basic attack, and 4 bullets with her skill, or 2 bullets from her support ability, with a cap of 6 bullets. The caveat here is that if she gets interrupted during her basic attack sequence, then you have to start from the beginning to generate the bullet. This is one of the reasons why, although she works as a main-DPS, her playstyle as a sub-DPS is considered best.
There are three main ways to inflict targets with attachment/bind: hitting them with Jiuyuan’s 5th Basic Attack, using her skill on them, on through Vita Buds from Blossom reaction. Once Jiuyuan uses her ultimate, all targets affected by attachment will take extra damage both in the form of a burst and as an increase to the damage over time that they take from that effect.
In short, Jiuyuan’s gameplay as a sub-DPS can be simplified as switching in to use her skill, ult if available, and then switching out. She’s that simple to make work, although like any other characters, there are ways to optimize her rotation and damage by pairing her with synergistic teammates who can offer consistent Blossom reactions and buffs.

Jiuyuan best Arcs (Weapons) are placed in order of what fits their playstyle the most. Check the comments to get additional context. Also, if you go to the Calculations tab, you will find information about the team setup used for the calculations.

Awakenings & Calcs
In NTE, you can freely choose Awakening Effects, so you are not forced to unlock them in a specific order, and you can unselect them at any time.
A2 > A6 > A5 > A3 > A4 > A1
For Jiuyuan’s Awakenings, A2 is the easy top priority. Not only it increases the damage ratio of her damage over time mechanic, but it also gives her the ability to heal the entire team by 5% of the total damage accumulated by Lethal Rose Pact. Considering that most of the time you will be focusing on dodging and parrying anyway, this makes her good enough of a solo healer. As a bonus, it synergizes well in a team with Baicang, improving his overall survivability.
A6 is particularly good against bosses and elite enemies, being the highest damage increase to Lethal Rose Pact’s damage among Jiuyuan’s awakenings. A3 and A4 are very close by in value, with A3 being more useful for bosses and elite enemies, by increasing Break. In the meantime, A4 increases the DMG Ratio of Pact Settlement further, with this being the best bonus from this Awakening, since its other half (spreading Pact Settlement DMG to nearby targets) will rarely take effect with how easy it is to spread attachment to all targets anyway. A1 comes last in the list of priority because of its lower DMG bonus and requiring at least 3 targets to reach its cap.
Jiuyuan’s Resonances only offer minor bonuses to her kit, the most notable coming at the second Resonance (A6), but it only lowers the Anima RES of bound targets by 10%. The value of this Resonance may increase in the future if we encounter enemies with unusually high RES or DEF in future endgame modes, but until then, it’s far from a must.
Jiuyuan dupe calculations show the relative gain of each Awakening compared to the 'base' character without any active.
This gives Jiuyuan an ATK boost for each target on the field bound by Lethal Rose Pact, stacking up to three targets. It's the lowest priority of her awakenings since it requires at least three bound targets to reach its cap, and even then the damage bonus isn't particularly impressive compared to what her other awakenings bring.
This massively increases Lethal Rose Pact's damage ratio and also heals the entire team whenever Pact Settlement triggers, based on the total damage accumulated by that Rose Pact. This is her best awakening by a wide margin and your first pickup without question, not only does it make her attachment hit significantly harder but it essentially turns her into a solo healer on the side which is a huge bonus for team building.
This deducts extra Break from the target when Pact Settlement is actively triggered. The raw calc shows 0% on its own but the value here comes from how easily it can push enemies into another Break state, making it more useful for bosses and elite enemies where that extra Break really adds up.
This increases the damage ratio of Pact Settlement and spreads its damage to nearby targets when actively triggered. The spread part of this awakening will rarely matter with how easy it is to bind multiple targets anyway, so the damage ratio increase is really what you're here for and it's a decent enough bonus on its own.
This gives her a straight personal damage increase with no conditions attached, literally just more personal damage. It's a reliable and consistent boost that doesn't require anything specific to proc, making it a solid pickup after A2 and A6 are picked.
This deals a burst of damage to all targets bound by Lethal Rose Pact every time they use a skill, with a short cooldown between procs. This is particularly good against bosses and elite enemies and the highest damage increase to Lethal Rose Pact among her awakenings, making it a clear second priority right after A2, though the value can shift a bit depending on fight length.
R3 is a generic skill level increase, and all calculations are Raw Gain with no other Awakens included.
R6 reduces the Anima RES of targets bound by Lethal Rose Pact, letting your Anima units deal more damage to them. Calculations are Raw Gain with no other Awakens included.
