Phoebe places a chess piece; deals 600% damage to a single target with a 100% chance to steal 1 buff(s) each; for every 1 buff(s) Phoebe has, increases this final damage by 5%.
How to counter?
- Focus on Debuffs instead of Buffs, or use Single Target Buffs for your DPS and a Taunter to protect them.
Team Composition Tips
Much like the previous Shell bosses before them, Phoebe and Febian are straightforward enemies and most teams that could beat the previous fights are equipped to deal with this one. Also, with the beginning of the Nightmare difficulty, we feel it's a good time to introduce a staple team that can safely take you through most of the higher end Shell Bosses but couldn't express itself against the lower health bosses.
- Healer/Support - Any Support with Cleanse, Immunity and Heal/Shields is excellent.
- DPS - Priority goes to Single Target, the add-ons, while annoying, are nowhere near as dangerous as the bosses if you let them stack.
- Any ST DPS, such as
Liliam and 
Diting, as there is no Affinity disadvantage. - Special mention to
Yeli, 
Massiah, 
Lian and 
Borgne who shine even with their Hybrid targeting kits. - Buffer/Debuffer - Prioritise Debuffs and Turn Manipulation. Taunter highly advised if you're using powerful buffs like SPD Up, ATK Up, etc.
Lily and 
Nell - Even if the Boss can steal their powerful buffs, the sheer value they provide can't be ignored
Marvell and 
Kloss are excellent SPD Debuffers with extra Turn meter decrease and DEF- respectively.
