Stamina & Dawnium Usage
Stamina
Stamina is mainly used to gather resources around the map in Sword and Staff, which are just extra resources for free. How you usually want to spend your stamina changes seasonally, as each season in the game will change what you spend your stamina on based on what you currently need.
The best way to spend your stamina in the early game is using it to simply get more Rolla. Rolla is used throughout ALL PARTS OF THE GAME, and it is a bottleneck for most players early on. You can also use your Rolla to buy more goods from your daily shop, and also fully restock by refreshing it.
If you don’t plan on spending on this game, it’s recommended to do at least 3 refreshes per day and buy out most, if not all, the resources in the daily shop.
When you manually click a node to farm for the first time, an Auto button appears at the top of the chat.
From here, you can select how much stamina you want to spend on that specific resource, and your character will automatically pick it up (the auto-pick feature isn’t available when you start playing - it unlocks on day 2 or 3).
Resource nodes
You can spot bigger nodes that yield a higher amount of resources while farming. Differentiating the two, you have big nodes and special nodes.
For big nodes, you will have to wait to be able to fully farm them, as you can only use them 2-3 times every 10 minutes between each usage. Waiting for an extra usage on these nodes is only worth it for people who don’t mind having the game running in the background while playing.
You can also farm for special nodes that will give you gems and cooking materials. You’ll also be able to spell them in the auction house for Dawnium.
Dawnium and Daily Activities
Usually, in an AFK Idle RPG game, they’re different from normal gachas in that the premium currency is primarily used to pull for characters.
In Sword x Staff, you will use premium currency for resources and daily tasks that will make your account stronger, as well as pulls.
However, many of these daily activities and how much Dawnium you spend on them are up to you, but if you want to min-max your account, you have to do most of them daily.
Material Realms
You can farm all of the resources you need for account progression and the cart. Free to Play players should do 2/2/2/2 extra attempts on this, while spenders should do 4/2/2/4 extra attempts. This is because Raw Ore and Chrono Sand will be a big sink, so if you do plan on spending, it’s worthwhile to do extra attempts on those dungeons. The recommended amount is 4 extra purchases for Raw Ore and Chrono Sand, but this will depend on how much you spend.
Cost is incremental: 60, 60, 100, 100, 150, 150, 200, 200, 250, 300.
Daily Dungeons
Daily Dungeons are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to max out extra attempts.
You can only purchase 2 extra attempts daily, one for 100 Dawnium and the second for 150. You obtain Gear and shards for the highest rarity equipment in this dungeon. We have a guide on Daily Dungeons located into the Guides section that goes more into depth on how you handle these.
Guild
Guilds will heavily depend on your guild and its requirements. There are a few things you can do here that can increase your resources and Combat Power. Firstly, you can donate to the guild, which you do for free, and another one that costs Dawnium for Free to Play players.
Spenders can donate more. Items can also boost farm rates that last for 24 hours, but they’re pretty expensive and not recommended for Free to Play players. Don’t forget to use your Guild Coins in the shop for more resources.
Arena
You don’t have to engage with the PVP system, but the currency you can get from it is pretty useful for the exchange shop, so you can do some extra fights here.
Cost is incremental: 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100.
Daily Shop
The daily merchant on your base can sell a lot of useful stuff for both Rolla and Dawnium. Always check to see what you can buy from there. Getting the discounted material realm resources is heavily recommended, as well as Destiny Fruit and discounted gacha currency, as you see fit.
Auction House
The Auction House is where you can bid and sell Gear, Gear shards, ingredients to cook food, Fantomon materials, and much, much more. This is included on the list so you can keep your eye out for it, but this is not mandatory by any means.
With all of that covered, there are a few more places to spend Dawnium, but the ones listed are the best ones to farm when playing as a Free to Play or light spender. Finally, always keep some Dawnium on you in case a merchant spawns on the map, since they are capable of selling some really good stuff.
