Agravaine is a Sustained DPS Archer suited for longer fights and deals higher damage to bosses, especially those with high Damage Reduction stats and Shields.
Her Passive 1 inflicts additional damage when she uses Basic Attacks and Skills (+ 1 more additional hit against enemies with Shields) and applies a stacking buff that increases her Ignore Damage Reduction, Attack Speed, Additional Damage and ATK Amp. Her Active Skills deal AOE damage, dealing additional Damage if there is only 1 target. Her ultimate deals AOE damage, reduces the cooldown of her Active skill and increases her Active Skill damage for a short duration. Her Passive 2 increases her ATK and her Critical Hit Rate.
Agravaine is a bona fide boss killer. Her kit gives her massive Ignore Damage Reduction while dealing bonus damage to enemies with active Shields, along with impressive sustained damage output. This does give her a decent niche against many bosses in Adventure (especially Hell Mode) and Tower content, being able to quickly take down bosses packing high Damage Reduction stats and shields. Her wave clear is also pretty impressive, making her a decent replacement (at least in the DPS department) for Lueira if you had missed out on her banner. It also makes her the newest Fenrir Raid boss merchant, being specifically tailored to break through Fenrir’s massive Damage Reduction stat and shields. Her raid performance in other maps is also quite reasonable, matching several bosses (Chimera, Morgan Le Fay (Magic Resistance), etc.)
Agravaine faces stiff competition in the current raid meta. Her typing and class puts her in close competition with 2 very strong Archers in the metagame right now - Lisa and Nesha. Lisa’s burst damage makes her better suited for the Chimera Raid (being able to sync her damage output alongside the Failnaught’s procs). Meanwhile, Nesha’s typing and equally strong sustained damage output means that she will likely continue to hold the crown in the Estheria Daily Raid (and the Sacred Titania Avalon raid).
Besides her need to ramp up for stats, Agravaine enjoys the vast majority of her kit close to the start of the fight and can easily fit into many comps looking for a solid DPS. She is a solid pick for a new player’s main DPS carry, although Lueira still holds the crown at the moment.
Agravaine’s card, Hidden in the Shadows, is a unique Archer DPS card that offers an Ignore Damage Reduction and ATK AMP party buff up to 3 times when the holder uses their ultimate. Few characters are able to maximise this effect in most content, aside from Lisa and Lancelot. This buff is permanent, so if you are willing to manually play for about a minute in Stonehenge, you can stack the buff and enjoy it for the rest of the farming session.
Very powerful ramping buffs, strong performance in long, drawn-out fights.
Solid DPS candidate for challenge boss modes (Tower, Abyss, Adventure Hell mode, etc).
Minimal requirements to maximise kit (aside from time).
Stiff competition in the current meta.
Does not do as well in shorter fights.
