Wandering Sword Lee Jisoo is a more modern take on buff nullification operator niche Serina Crew occupied before her release. Jisoo cuts limiting Striker first from Command Skill proc order, applies a powerful DMG AMP% debuff on top of buff nullify and has doubled effect and duration against expensive units.
The only downside is Jisoo only working against Defender / Striker enemies instead of all enemy units. Buffs on backline units can be relevant (e.g. Awakened Rosaria’s invincibility vs ALSY interaction), but an overwhelming majority of problematic removable buffs are still hit by Jisoo and up to +50% DMG Taken debuff is too big to ignore.
Ultimately, Wandering Sword Lee Jisoo carves a strong niche for herself in metagames defined by awakened frontline options. It’s almost impossible to protect units like Ecclesia for the 24s of buff nullify and combined with low cooldown she makes a very compelling choice for a wide variety of teams.
